So... the German Market has been going for a few weeks now. But how German is it? I know, I know there's bar after bar selling "Gluhwein" and beer in tankers, but is that all there is to Germany?

Attending the market I was shocked when hearing the thick broad brummy accent over the counter! With stalls selling Haribo sweets and Xmas trinkets, has the Frankfurt Market become lost in a mass of commercialism?
